One of the ways I find more branded company podcasts is the tedious but systematic approach of going through the largest American companies, searching for their name plus “company podcast”, and sifting through the results to see if they really have a relevant show. It’s the kind of dedication I put into making sure I have plenty of shows to review here, and to continue growing my Brands in Audio site as the most extensive directory of branded company podcasts!
I’m going to start sharing a bit more of this research as occasional reviews here. Let’s start from the top - here’s a brief overview of the podcasting presence of companies #1 to #10 in the Fortune 500:
1. Walmart - The Huddle with John Furner - I’ve reviewed it!
2. Amazon - This is Small Business - I’ve reviewed it!
3. ExxonMobile - none
4. Apple - none
5. UnitedHealth Group - none currently active
6. CVS Health - Healthy Conversations; Healthy Communities News; CVS Healthcare Careers Podcast
7. Berkshire Hathaway - none
8. Alphabet - Made by Google (my favorite of theirs); Where the Internet Lives (I’ve also reviewed it); Mixed Signals (I’ve also reviewed it); Think with Google; Google Cloud Platform Podcast; Talks at Google; Search Off the Record
9. McKesson - none
10. Chevron - none
I’ll link to some of the shows mentioned here or my reviews of them when possible. But if you’re curious about any of the shows from the companies in this section of the Fortune 500, ALL of them are in Brands in Audio!
