This wraps up my week of branded podcasts that I learned about or heard discussed at Podcast Movement last week. Unfortunately, I can’t piece together who recommended this podcast to me, I’m just glad they suggested it:
Behind The Review by Yelp
The show has a clever approach to bring two guests together on each episode. It starts with a Yelp reviewer reading excerpts from their review of a local business, then brings on the small business owner to learn more about their story. Great way to leverage user-generated content and bring both sides of a marketplace to life. I was enticed by the standout pun of this episode title: “Success Is No Illusion For A Baltimore Magic Show”. The show is hosted by Emily Washcovick, produced in partnership with Entrepreneur Media, and some episodes are integrated with a contest to select the top 150 Mom & Pop Shops across America. Nice additional touch to create cross-channel content marketing.
