If you’re considering a format for your branded company podcast that gets far away from the typical format of interviewing customers or employees, can I interest you in the live debate format?
Work Check from Atlassian
Work Check with production partner Pacific Content is the only branded company podcast I’ve found that successfully executes on a lively concept of debates about work topics, like having a “no meeting day”, or how emojis should or shouldn’t be used. And with their latest episode in May, they went all-in on the live energy - they taped the episode at Atlassian’s customer conference with host Christine Dela Rosa wrangling the crowd.
With an explosion of business and tech podcasts talking about the changing way we work (look no further than how I ended up with back to back reviews of shows in this area), it’s a really savvy move by Atlassian to stand out. It’s also no surprise that they’re willing to invest in the production needed to put together this type of show. Their first branded podcast, Teamistry (also with Pacific Content) is also one I recommend for the sound-rich narrative stories of well known and unexpected best-in-class teams.
