Bessemer and production partner Filia Media have clearly mastered getting their episodes considered for Signal Awards, as their interview with Peter Beck won gold in Business, gold in Interview or Talk Show, and silver in Advice & How-to. And their interview with Andy Slavitt also won gold in Business, gold in Interview or Talk Show, and gold in News & Politics. That’s a 6-to-1 ratio of awards to shows!

I do think it’s a very deserving show. The interview with Peter Beck, who is the CEO of Rocket Lab, is excellent. Host David Cowan taps into their shared experience in business, has a nice balance of prepared and adapted questions, and there’s great sound editing throughout, and takeaway insights on both the business and personal sides.
