As for WHOOP’s show itself, it does a few things really well, and first of all deserves credit for having released more than 230 episodes over four years on a very consistent weekly schedule. The show is described as hosted by WHOOP’s CEO Will Ahmed, but at least in recent episodes they’ve had another company exec as the interviewer, and with a nice touch of still having the CEO do a quick intro before leading into the episode. Finally, the episodes go deep on breaking down the scientific basis for elite athletic performance, which is at a perfect intersection - it’s the area of expertise of the interviewer, it offers a clear niche for the show, and it aligns fully with the company’s brand.
