Yesterday I wrote about 3 Body Podcast, the companion podcast for the Netflix TV show 3 Body Problem. I thought that was a good mini-theme with another companion podcast, for Peabody Awards:

We Disrupt This Broadcast

Produced with PRX and hosted by comedian Gabe Gonzalez, the show is a compelling offering in the market for general interest podcasts about TV and media. It features deep dives with creators of critically-acclaimed TV shows - I listened to episode two with Damon Lindelof, and the first episode was with Quinta Brunson.

The show has an infrequent release schedule, just once a month, so it’s easy to get caught up. The show keeps the Peabody branding and mentions light - I suspect and hope that it’s building towards a celebration of the 2024 Peabody awards coming up on June 9th. Can’t wait to see how they’re building on it in the show!
