The show is tackling an important societal issue of loneliness and both reducing the stigma in talking about it, and helping listeners move towards getting help themselves. They also use an interesting model of telling the real stories of people working through their loneliness with the help of a mentor over multiple sessions. It’s a compelling model for the show that is particularly honest and engaging.
