Today’s post brings me to the end of week 1 of 2 of the Olympics and my reviews of Olympics-related branded and general interest podcasts.

I was in search of podcasts that captured the patriotism and rallying around your country’s Olympic team. Unfortunately and surprisingly there’s nothing directly from the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee. But this show illustrates the country-specific approach from way down in Australia.

The show is from one of their major broadcast networks Channel 9, who produces a whole portfolio of podcasts. And it works for listeners anywhere in the world. They were doing daily updates and news about the preparation for Paris well before many other shows. Of course, you also get a heavy dose of updates about the Australian team, athletes, and chances for medals.
