The Ben & Marc Show

As the name suggests, it serves as a vehicle for firm namesakes Ben Horowitz and Marc Andreessen to talk to each other and special guests. Given the ambitions and scope of a16z podcasting with Erik Torenberg, splitting out the Ben & Marc show from their earlier role as recurring hosts / guests on the flagship a16z podcast makes sense. The separate feed has flexibility for when the two of them are available for an episode and the format is even more open ended for their perspective on topics in tech and wider society.

It’s also a subtle benefit to make space in the podcast network for other hosts. Listeners who specifically want to hear Ben & Marc can follow this show, while on the other feeds a16z is cultivating a wider set of partners as thought leaders and likely future dedicated hosts of additional spin off shows.
