It’s always fun when a show I’ve previously reviewed pops up with a good reason to give it an additional shout out. In this fortnight of Olympic-focused branded company podcasts, I can offer that recognition to Intel:
Technically Speaking: An Intel Podcast
The show is a solid offering among the plethora of branded AI podcasts and they particularly do a good job of highlighting use cases where Intel products and services are powering AI applications. Intel is a top-tier Olympics partner, and they released an episode in their regular release schedule just before the start of the Paris games called “The Smartest Olympics Yet”.
Fittingly, they talk about the technology behind the scenes that helps athletes train better and the elevate the competitive and viewing experience. And they use a great combination of guests leveraging their sponsorship and branding goals, featuring an in-house Intel expert Sarah Vickers, and the International Olympic Committee’s Chief Information Technology Officer Ilario Corna. Out of all the Olympic podcasts I listened to, this was my favorite standalone branded episode.
