Which PwC just brought back for a second season! With hosts Ayesha Hazarika and Lizzie OLeary, and production partner Sony Music Entertainment they cover a nice mix of global business topics with both PwC and external guests. One thing I thought they did particularly well is translate one of the company’s major thought leadership publications into a podcast episode.
The PwC “CEO Survey” is an extensive research project, so there are some pitfalls in trying to bring that to the podcast format. Most obviously, in written form it’s presented with slides and graphs and commentary. It would be easy to try to cover material on the podcast that is too dense, or makes too much reference to the written material. Instead, the show guided the guest to give a narrower and crisper set of answers about specific insight areas from the report.
