If you’re interested in how companies are marketing through podcasts, you probably also have some appreciation for great ad campaigns. I tend not to focus on podcasts that are from companies where their core product is written and audio content, but I’ll blur the lines a bit for:

Each episode is a deep dive into an iconic ad campaign, hearing from the ad agency and brand about the inspiration of the idea, the execution challenges, and adapting to viral success. The campaigns they’ve covered bring me a lot of joy, like “The Epic Split” from Volvo Trucks, “It’s a Tide Ad”, and Bud Light’s “Real Men of Genius”. Fair warning though that once you listen to an episode you’ll probably want to spend more time on the show’s website to rewatch the iconic ads that they helpfully embed into the episode pages.
Show host and Editor in Chief of the Clios Tim Nudd moved on to a new role earlier this year, so we’ll have to wait and see if a third season of Tagline is coming.
