I’m thinking about a branded company podcast review series about shows promoting specific cities. I’ve covered Boston recently, and San Francisco a while back. I just listened to this one about San Diego from the Prebys Foundation:

Prebys makes grants to support institutions, ideas, and people in San Diego county. Host Grant Oliphant interviews a quite diverse set of people involved in the region. I listened to an interview with Omar Blaik about urban planning, both the revitalization of San Diego’s Civic Center, and his work at the University of Pennsylvania where I went to school. If you happen to pop into a different episode you might hear an interview with an artist and community teacher, or the leader of the Girl Scouts in the region. The passion for the city and community really come through, and I enjoy these passion projects with local ties.
