One of the themes in my reviews of branded company podcasts is bringing in the voices of different stakeholders. There’s a nice variation of this in the new podcast from Gates Cambridge:
So, now what?
As the organization’s name indicates, it is a scholarship program at Cambridge University, funded by the Gates Foundation. So in their case, the group they want to feature are the scholarship recipients themselves. The show has just released their first monthly episode, and it’s a good sign for what they’ll continue to publish.
The theme of episode one is “How do we build back better after a crisis?” and it follows an interview format guided by host and journalist Catherine Galloway. I particularly liked that across the three guests they provided expertise in the Middle East, United States, and Africa. Congrats on a successful launch!
