Review: Safeguarding Sound Science from the National Center for Science Education

I’m noticing more branded company podcasts from governmental organizations both in the U.S. and abroad as they use audio to reinforce the advocacy work that is core to their mission.
This show is from the National Center for Science Education and hosted by Mat Kaplan. The tone could easily gravitate on rules and regulations and dogma, so I really liked that the show emphasizes hearing from regulators directly who are teaching science every day. It also does a nice job of finding empathy for teachers that are in a tough situation of having limited resources and relying on government and non-profit resources that have ulterior motives.
