Podcast discovery and podcast best practices are challenging, so I like using my review slots to highlight good resources on both of those fronts. Lower Street is one of the premier producers of branded company podcasts (and my collaborator on Brands In Audio), and I recently found their podcast about finding and learning from other great podcasts:
Podcast Book Club
The episode I listened to featured a handful of Lower Street’s producers (Jackie Lamport, Sam Datta-Paulin, Erin MacIndoe Sproule) alongside founder Harry Morton. That’s a nice benefit of this panel discussion format, as it brought onto the mic a number of people at the company who are usually behind the scenes. They have a lot of genuine love for the craft of podcasting, and talked about a range of popular and more niche shows.
