Some branded company podcasts are launched with the help of a professional production agency, or marketers with experience being on camera or recorded for multimedia campaigns; but plenty of other branded company podcasts are from first-time audio storytellers, who are coming up with the voice and format as the show evolves.
I think I found this show from the coincidental but confusing company name overlap with this company Paramount Global that is a packaging manufacturer, and the major media & entertainment corporation. I’m always game for exploring a niche industry via podcast, so I checked out the first episode. I learned some new things about packaging - like the distinction between primary and secondary packaging - and I’m rooting for the show! The hosts Joe Simich and Marcos Garcia Jones are candid that the show is a new experiment for them, and they can only commit to new episodes every quarter. They have two so far, and I’m hoping they stick with it.
