With creative execution, almost all general interest podcast genres can also be the format of effective branded company podcasts. Early Warning, the parent company of Zelle, just launched season three of their show:
Nickel & Crime
It’s a clever concept - use the true crime style to tell stories of scams and incorporate their brand message of being safe with online payments. I especially liked the most recent episode that had a more hopefully outcome from near miss scams that were thwarted. The show has won Signal Awards and W3 Awards, which shows in some nice details, like the testimonial reenactments. And of course in being the only branded podcast I can think of with a raccoon in its show logo.
