I came across this Human Resources focused podcast from UK-based software and services company HRoes:
HR:ER
I was expecting discussions of HR intricacies that only the most grizzled HR purists would encounter. Or maybe discussion of the type of employee training scenarios and case studies that often amount to “do the pretty clear right thing”. But this new podcast that started in January is not shying away from the challenging and shocking work situations that don’t have easy answers. In just the first three episodes, co-hosts Elissa Thursfield and Oliver Robinson have tackled mental health, physical violence, sexual harassment, AI uses and misuse, and company data security.
These are the kind of shows that really burst through any misguided assumptions that business and administrative podcasts are going to be dry, jargon-filled slogs. It’s not an exaggeration in their show description that it “will make you gasp, laugh, and maybe even nod your head in sympathetic understanding”.
