The folks at the Electronic Frontier Foundation have an important job, that often leads to very technical and serious conversations about internet policy, safety, and regulation. So you might wonder what style they’d take in their branded company podcast:
How to Fix the Internet
The show is hosted by Cindy Cohn and Jason Kelley from EFF, and produced with partner Pacific Content. They do a great job finding a nice balance between treating topics with the level of maturity and nuance that they deserve, while breaking it down so it’s accessible and compelling for the listener. The episode I listened to had Senator Ron Wyden as the guest, and I came away with a lot more confidence that there are at least some smart and well-informed members of government involved in shaping internet policy, and organizations like the EFF will keep them accountable.
