I’ve reviewed many a venture capital branded company podcast in this space, and that’s for good reason - there’s a solid format of having the VC host interview companies (usually who they have invested in) about the major strategic choices along the way to their success. So it’s fun to find another this show from Initialized Capital that tries out something a bit different:

High Bit

Managing partner Brett Gibson hosts, and each episode is an interview with a startup founder. So far pretty standard. But as the show describes, it focuses on “the art of technical problem-solving”. In the episode I listened to with Ben Chelf and John Boiles of Sol, that was about the gnarly challenges of developing a hardware product and dealing with battery life, weight, user comfort, and more. For listeners who like these tech and startup stories, but want a change from the focus on strategy and fundraising, High Bit is definitely worth checking out.
