LinkedIn has made a huge push into podcasting, with 14 shows at last count. They have a mix of “news podcasts” that are made in-house and focus directly on job market themes, and a growing set of “LinkedIn presents” shows where the company sponsors and handles ad sales for established shows. I’ll cover some of the “sponsors” shows later, but to start I’m highlighting their flagship journalistic show:
Hello Monday
The show is hosted by LinkedIn’s Senior Editor Jessi Hempel and has been running for over four years and 230 episodes. It shows what the right voice and team can do with long-standing investment. There’s a really nice mix of topics that tie into the evolution of work and personal success, while also capturing broader news of the moment, like the recent episode about the Writers Guild of America strike.
