
This is the 26th edition of my ten-Fortune-500-companies-at-a-time journey to document all of their branded company podcasts. And as far as I can remember this is the first one where only a single company of the 10 has a podcast. So kudos first to Guardian Life with their ongoing show educating insurance brokers on topics to grow their business.
The fact that we can go through a slice of the largest companies and only find 10% of them with a branded company podcast is also a reminder that we’re still in the very early innings for this marketing channel becoming widely adopted across companies. I like the analogy that it wasn’t that long ago that companies considered it optional to have a social media presence at all. I’m aiming to play a tiny part in nudging us to a world where it becomes universal for companies to tell great audio stories.
