With the usual disclaimers that I’m a former Boston Consulting Group employee, they are deserving of being a repeat feature of my branded company podcast reviews.
BCG has an extensive network of podcasts which initially covered different industries and practice areas. With this new show, they do a great job of bringing a similar approach to a focus on the Middle East as a region. Host Ramia Farrage is a journalist with relevant expertise, and they interview leaders who have built impressive businesses, as well as tapping BCG partners to offer additional commentary.
It’s a great general format, and the regional touches are well done. They introduce flavor and food as a way to get to know the guests and connect their stories to their local culture. It works nicely in the interviews, and is even reflected in the show art, which is also a strong point of the BCG podcast portfolio, as each show reinforces the company’s signature green brand, while differentiating between the shows.
