Both the podcast and newsletter are a great resource for discovering new shows to listen to. It’s also an interesting example of sourcing podcast content from listeners, as each episode and newsletter has recommendations from someone in the EarBuds audience. It works really well for covering a wide range of themes from the expertise of the submitter. And it shifts the work that Arielle Nissenblatt, Abby Klionsky, and Devon DiComo do - instead of writing and presenting the core recommendations, their focus is on nurturing the community and curating which submissions to run in the newsletter and podcast.
