
There’s an art to branded company podcasts that emphasize a broader cause and impact than the specific product the company is selling. I was reminded of that in this show from Emergent BioSolutions:
If you’re like me, you haven’t heard of the company, but you have heard of their flagship product - NARCAN nasal spray to mitigate opioid overdoses. They have an effective approach in their podcast, it tackles the multi-dimensional problem of opioid addiction, without making the product the focus. I listened to their last episode of season two, about the impact of the opioid crisis on older adults. It’s a nice highlight of a less visible user population compared to the typical image of it, which is also a nice lesson for lots of branded company podcasts.
