Harvard has a great collection of branded company podcasts featuring their professors and research. (I’ve previously reviewed “Think Big, Buy Small”, “The Parlor Room”, and “Climate Rising”.) I wanted to highlight one of their shows because it takes a pretty unique approach.
The host is Muriel Wilkins, and rather than share her leadership expertise around general themes or famous examples, each episode is a peek into an abbreviated coaching session. She has a guest who explains the real goals they have at work, and Muriel engages with them on strategy and tactics. It makes the ideas feel real and approachable. I like this style of show, and it reminds me of one of my favorite general interest podcasts, “Where Should We Begin? with Esther Perel”, which are live therapy sessions with individuals and couples.
