Congrats JAR Audio and Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group for their new branded company podcast launch:
Cirque du Sound
One way to describe what companies can aspire to in their podcast is to capture the magic of their brand with their fans. This is embodied so well in Cirque du Sound. In a Cirque du Soleil show, you see the world-class circus performers exhibiting their feats of athleticism and artistry. But what has made Cirque such an enduring brand is the creative inspiration and level of detail of the design, and story, and feel of the experience.
That’s not an easy task to turn into a podcast when you can’t show the trapeze, and juggling, and clowns that bring energy to the live shows. Rather, it’s the deep dive into creative themes, like darkness and light, and finding magic around you, that each episode of the show emphasizes. It’s a great structure, with host Michel Laprise sharing anecdotes from specific Cirque shows while interviewing guests about their creative process. And there’s an immersive sound backdrop that brings the listener into the circus experience.
