I’m biased of course having worked at Boston Consulting Group, but I think they’re arguably the company innovating most on branded company podcasts formats leveraging AI:
CEO Digest
With this newly launched show, BCG has two ongoing podcasts that feature AI not just as a discussion topic or a production tool, but actually a co-host on mic. The other show that started their GenAI-as-host efforts was “Imagine This…” (which I reviewed back in March), in which BCG Editor in Chief Paul Michelman engages in conversation with “GENE”, a generative AI bot, about tech innovation and AI topics.
CEO Digest combines GENE with another relevant topic for a thought leadership show - synthesized insights from BCG’s written articles for business executives. They certainly could have taken a more traditional route of having human hosts and authors of the material discussing the work. It’s novel and impressive to take the approach of having AI providing the takeaway points. It shows how far AI capabilities have come, and Paul and the production team is still willing to point out when the tech still has shortcomings. There are a ton of general and branded AI podcasts you can listen to now - I’d recommend these BCG ones as shows that are embracing and putting into practice AI, not just talking about it!
