Review: Build the Change from ActBlue
I consider non-profits’ use of podcasts for marketing purposes just as fair game for my coverage as for-profit companies. Today’s show is from the nonprofit ActBlue, which is involved in politics, though as a provider of technology for grassroot fundraising for Democratic candidates and committees rather than directly advocating for specific causes:
Build the Change
Accordingly, I really like how they tackle a wide range of social causes ranging from workers’ rights, to climate change, to access to education. The show is hosted by Alok Vaid-Menon, and I found it through one of the featured slots in PocketCasts, which is a reminder that paid promotion can be effective.
