This is day two of showcasing the branded company podcast strategy of Andreessen Horowitz. They’re one of the biggest corporate podcast networks, so there’s plenty to cover. Up today:
It would be far more surprising if a16z did not have an AI focused podcast at this point. What’s interesting is how the VC firm uses this show, given they have a range of other ones as well. The episode I listened to did a great job blending insights from the guest and reflections from how a16z is using AI within the company. I find that can be an overlooked part of making the host brand an active participant in the story. The host of this episode was Joel de la Garza, and an impressive aspect of the a16z podcasting approach is that on this and some of their other shows they have a rotating roster of partners and experts as the host. It takes impressive coordination to line up the hosts and train them on the unifying voice of the show. By doing so, they can use the best host for each topic, and spread the creation load across a wide set of contributors.
