I’m excited to see new podcasts and resources about all aspects of how brands invest in audio for storytelling and marketing goals. Podcast agency Oxford Road chose to tackle a unique, niche area with their new show that is four episodes deep:
They describe it as the only podcast solely focused on audio ads - I like how practical and hands-on it is. Oxford Road’s host Stew Redwine grounds the episodes in the company’s framework for evaluating audio ad effectiveness, which is both helpful structure and great reinforcement of their thought leadership. And each episode has guests from the podcast/audio industry, who actually do on-mic reviews of audio ads to talk about what works and doesn’t work with them. They call out great work and things they would have done differently, so it’s great education for everyone in the audio space!
